Promotional Video
You have a product, service, business or event you want to promote.
To do this right, you need something slick and glossy.
This is one of our specialities.
To date we have done mostly promotional videos for festivals and events, but the principles are the same for business:
We start by getting to know you and developing a thorough understanding of the thing you need to promote.
Then, with our talents and your understanding of your business and your knowledge of your market, we work out how to tell the most effective story. And it always is a story, because that's how you engage people.
Examples
Have a look at Creative Swindon (2006, 2 minutes):
And have a look at Investing in the Summer Festival (2008, 3 minutes):
These are short and sweet, and will show you exactly what we can achieve.
Notice how Creative Swindon launches in with movement and colour. The main body is simple but dramatic - a section for each of the different areas of culture in Swindon, headed by a swish logo animation. And then it finishes with a dramatic climax. The classic beginning, middle and end.
Notice how Investing in the Summer Festival combines imagery and interview to evoke the atmosphere of the festival whilst simultaneously selling the idea of sponsoring it. Notice that it, too, has a beginning, middle and end. And notice how the middle has a carefully crafted message with a clear progression designed to persuade the viewer.
How much?
Budgets vary. Faster cutting means longer shooting and longer editing. Graphics and visual effects cost. Music requires a composer and musicians.
If you are thinking about commissioning Ideal Films, we can meet and discuss your project. Then we will produce an outline plan your and work out a budget proposal.
However, past experience shows you can expect to pay between £500 and £2000 per minute of finished film.
